BIRDWATCHING
AVIFAUNA OF THE NATIONAL PARK OF THE TUSCAN ARCHIPELAGO.
Introductory course to recognise the various species of the
island of Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago. Accompanied by
an expert birdwatcher, we will scout the hunting territories
of the buzzard and the hawk, we will research the nesting
grounds of the partridge, owl, crow and house martin. We will
spot the colonies of seagulls and the colourful cranes. Crossing
hillsides, beaches and cliffs, we will learn to use binoculars,
observe animals without disturbing them, and recognise both
common and rare species. The course is aimed at beginners
or experienced nature enthusiasts who wish to immerse themselves
in the natural environment.
